Emily Osborne, Lead Facilitator
Since 2016 I’ve had the joy of sharing yoga across the North East of England, a pathway which has invited me into so much connection & growth. In 2021, I opened the doors to The Durham Yoga Studio which has become a home for embodied practice and community.
I teach from the heart, offering an embodied and intuitive style of yoga that invites you to listen inward and move in a way that feels kind and honest to your body softening the pressure to ‘perform’ and inviting you into a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Creativity and playfulness through movement are also an important part of my own personal practice and teaching.
My passion lies in exploring how yoga can truly nourish us, helping us to feel more grounded, more connected, a sense of belonging and more able to find joy in the small, everyday moments of life.
My teaching is rooted in my training in Embodied Yoga shaped by the teachers and traditions that have guided me. I have a foundation in Embodied Vinyasa and further training in Yin, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Somatics, Tantra and Advanced Facilitation, deeply rooted in the tradition of Non-Dual Kashmir Shaivism.
