200 Hour Teacher Training Terms and Conditions
Certification Requirements
To receive your 200 Hour Teacher Training Certification, you must:• Attend all in person lectures and training days
• Practice yoga: You are required to be part of an active yoga practice during the training
• Complete homework — regular weekly reading & journaling questions will enhance the material that we’re covering at different stages of the training
• Complete final assessmentEnrolment requirements
We require a minimum two years yoga practice to join the courseUpon successful application we will have an introduction call (either online and in-person).Participants are required to maintain a regular practice schedule during the training.
Booking
A £500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on the course.Fees

Payment terms will be agreed upon booking the course.Agreed payment plan dates:
• 1 instalment: Full amount (including deposit)
• 3 monthly instalments
• 6 monthly instalments
• Other payment plans can be agreed on applicationDeposit to be paid within 14 days of acceptance on the course to secure a place.How far in advance should the full payment be made before the course starts?
Depending on a payment plan agreed on application & acceptance onto the course.A deposit is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance spread across agreed monthly instalments. All payments must be completed before the training start date.
Cancellation Policy
We know life can move in unexpected ways, so we’ve shaped our policy to be both fair and steady for everyone involved.
Before the training begins
• A non-refundable £500 deposit secures your place.
• Any additional payments are refundable up to 60 days before the start date.
• Cancellations made within 60 days of the start date are non-refundable.
Once the training has started
• No refunds can be offered for any reason.
• If you need to step away part-way through, we’ll welcome you into the next cohort so you can complete your journey when life feels more spacious (dates TBC).
If the studio needs to cancel
• If, for any reason, The Durham Yoga Studio must cancel the training, you’ll receive a full refund of all course fees paid.
Additional costs
• We can’t take responsibility for any extra expenses you may have arranged independently, such as travel, accommodation or exchange rate changes.Cancellation of Course
If the training is cancelled entirely by the studio:
• You will receive a full refund of all fees paid, including your deposit.
• The studio is not responsible for any additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or time off work.If the training is postponed or rescheduled:
You’ll be invited to choose one of the following:
• Transfer your place to the new training dates
• Receive a full refund of all fees paid, including the depositIf individual training days need to be rearranged:
Training days may be subject to slight changes. We will offer alternative dates or online sessions so no content is lost.
No refunds will be given for isolated schedule adjustments unless the entire training is cancelled.In the event of a National Lockdown, the course will be moved online.Complaint Procedure
1. Speak to the Studio
If something doesn’t feel right, please speak to the studio as soon as possible.
We aim to resolve most concerns through an open and caring conversation.
2. Put It in Writing (If Needed)
If the issue isn’t resolved informally, you’re welcome to send a written outline of your concern.
The studio will reply within a reasonable timeframe and share any steps we can take to support a resolution.
3. Follow-Up
If more time is needed to look into the matter, the studio will let you know and provide an updated timeframe for a full response.
GDPR Policy
No personal information will be shared, other than name, email and contact number will be passed to Yogi Pros, as a Trainee of a Yogi Pros Accredited Teacher TrainingOnly the course leader will have access to information submitted upon application.Customer data, including application information is stored within Squarespace, Momence and Gmail — all password-protected programs.A GDPR acceptance tick box will be included in booking forms.
Photographs and videos may be taken during the training. Participants have the right to opt out of any photos or videos of themselves being shared. If you prefer not to appear in any shared content, please let us know at the start of the training or speak to Emily at any time.Code of Conduct
Teacher Trainees will be required to follow a code of conduct during the training and will also be invited to co-create a code of conduct with each other at the start of the training to ensure safety, high standards & ethical guidelines.Harmful behaviour, discrimination, or breaches of safety cannot be held within this container and may result in removal without refund.
